The family room

Plus a less than flattering picture of John. This is the gas starting, wood burning fireplace. Built in bookshelves on either side of the fireplace. Oddly enough, it is *exactly* the same fireplace my grandparents had. Down to the black slate seat. The rest of the walls are white, and it really is a great room. Very homey, and comfortable. Square too, not long and skiny like the living room. One of our favourite rooms.
