Fan girl!
WHEEE! *insert excited fan girl screaming here* Great Big Sea were in fact the band last night, and they were unbelievably amazing. When the MC, a local 'celebrity', introduced the band, I dropped my tea cup on the table, threw my purse down (I'm told it somehow ended up in the aisle, good thing I work with nice people because I came back two hours later and it was on the table with all the money still there) and we ran for the stage. So excited we could only scream. I know we expect them, but you can never be sure, you know?We were front row centre, within touching distance of Alan Doyle the whole time. I just couldn't stop myself from occasionally letting out little fan girly squeals of joy. Or from jumping up and down.
