Best part of Polish Christmas eve dinner: when Cousin M, the family favourite, went off with her rich and old boyfriend to do drugs in the park and came back stones. Funniest thing ever.
Second best part of Polish Christmas eve dinner: the food! Oh, the handmade perogies! Potatoes, potatoes and cheese, cabbage and cheese, and plum jam. The three different types of salmon! 3 rices! Even the forgotten cabbage rolls. It's an insane amount of food for 20 odd people, but so delicious.

Best part of Christmas morning: waking up to open stockings and finding silly things like a multicoloured feather duster and a Henkle bread knife and a small head the grows grass when in water. Watching his face as he opened the plastic puffer fish and him making the little penguin and reindeer finger puppets act out sex acts.
Second best part of Christmas morning: sitting around, relaxingly playing computer games, drinking tea and not having to rush around for another few hours.
